Explore One of the Most Famous Brands in the World
Supposing that “Made in Italy” were a brand, it would be one of the most famous brands in the world, right after Coca Cola and Ferrari.
If it weren’t for its definition of quality, innovation, creativity and craftsmanship, how else could a small Italian tailor, such as Angelo Inglese, have handmade a unique piece of high quality dress shirt for the 45th president of the United States’s inauguration day? Inglese started by working in his grandmother’s small tailor shop, which was founded in 1955 and has been contributing to the Made in Italy’s excellence for three generations now. “G. Inglese”, considered a top brand that started in a tiny town of southern Italy, exceled just like the other well-known Italian brands such as Armani, Valentino or Versace.
The Made in Italy’s excellence in design consists of more than just fabrics. Italy’s Consulate General in Los Angeles will present the “Italian Design Day”at the Pacific Design Center on March 2nd 2017, which will also deal with architecture, furniture and various other projects. In fact, Elena Pacenti (Dean of the Domus Academy School of Design in San Diego), Carlo Caccavale (Executive Director of the American Institute of Architects of Los Angeles) and Lorenzo Damiani are some of the Italian architects that will be featured at this event.
